While it is important to note that the results discussed were noted primarily in animal testing, it is encouraging to see that the trend toward identifying the helpful effects of cannibis is ongoing. The implications seem to suggest that positive health effects can be elicited from the natural hemp derivative cannibidiol.
Those familiar with CBD oil may be understandably skeptical about its effects on cardiovascular health, and it is wise to fully evaluate any supplement or claim before use. Some reports note that CBD can increase the heart rate of the user after taking it (similar to caffeine). This may make people think that irregular cardiovascular effects can be higher if they use cannabis.
