CBD Oil, Know How to Spot the Real Stuff, from the Fake

How Can I Make Sure My CBD Is Safe And Legitimate?

It is really simple, it all comes down to quality. These days, there are many companies getting on the CBD Oil bandwagon.

Some are good, others not so much. Now there is a new fear and panic spreading across the country in regard to “CBD Oil” and people getting sick from it. Multiple news sources as well as the U.S. Military, are trying to raise awareness of people getting violently ill after vaping “CBD Oils”. There is a world of difference between ACTUAL CBD OIL and the garbage you can find in a local smoke shop.

If you are serious about health and wellness, you need to get your CBD Oil from a legitimate manufacturer like CBD American Shaman, not buying untested synthetic vaping oils from “Bob’s Local Smoke Shop” or a convenience store. Your safety depends on it.

Here at CBD American Shaman, it all comes down to quality and purity. Other companies mix their CBD oil with things like olive oil, fish oil, and water…or even worse, chemicals that are likely untested and potentially unsafe.

This dilutes the oil and makes it less effective while increasing that companies' profit margins. The companies that do this are no better than the “Snake Oil Salesman” from the turn of the 20th century.

We don’t play games with people’s health here at American Shaman.

Our CBD American Shaman line of products contain the HIGHEST QUALITY HEMP OIL AVAILABLE containing high amounts of CBD (Cannabidiol) 100% Natural-Pure CO2 Extract. It is 100% Organic, Gluten-Free, Non-GMO Hemp and has No Heavy Metals or Insecticides. We have batch tested our products using Ultra Performance Convergence Chromatography.

American Shaman is vertically integrated from seed to shelf. What does that mean? We actually produce our own seeds in fields that we own and then grow industrial hemp for extraction. One of our main sources of product is from our field in Montana which is around 1,000 acres of organically grown hemp that is free of heavy metals, pesticides, and other contaminants. We have test plots all throughout the country and have a new field we're testing west of Topeka, KS that is growing the strain Cherry Wine for high CBD hemp that is all licensed and grown under a watchful eye. We're proud to also run our own extraction facilities where we take the biomass from all of our grows and produce the full-spectrum CBD oil that is then formulated for all of our products.

Our extraction of CBD is done with ethanol and Ultra Performance Convergence Chromatography. This process uses high-pressure CO2 as a solvent to separate the CBD from non-active organic compounds in our cGMP lab. This is the same process GW Pharmaceuticals of England uses to extract CBD for use in Sativex, the world’s first prescription pharmaceutical made from cannabis extract. Because we follow these industry standards, our CBD oil is the most effective and of the highest quality on the market today.

CBD Hemp Oil is made from Industrial Hemp. CBD oil is LEGAL and AVAILABLE in all 50 states. No permit or prescription is required. Every adult U.S. citizen can now benefit from the use of CBD oil!

It all comes down to this. We actually care about supporting our customers' health. So, we make the best possible product to do that.

What about the synthetic CBD’s and Marijuanas?

Synthetic marijuana and CBD oil, often marketed as K2, is a hallucinogen that can raise a person's blood pressure and cause reduced blood supply to the heart.

That’s what the people producing this garbage don’t want you to know. Also known as “Spice”, “K2” is what some people call “synthetic Marijuana”. Synthetic marijuana is really a misnomer for these drugs since their effects are vastly different than those induced by pot. Synthetic marijuana can be up to 100 times more potent than traditional marijuana.

Synthetic marijuana is a mixture of industrial chemicals intended to mimic the effects of THC, the naturally occurring active compound found in marijuana. The chemicals are sprayed on bits of dried plant material, packaged in colorful wrappers, nicknamed “poison packets,” and sold under the guise of potpourri and herbal incense in local convenience stores, smoke shops and even online. Synthetic marijuana use can lead to side effects like rapid heart rate, vomiting, agitation and hallucinations.

There is at least one similarity between synthetic marijuana and traditional pot. Both of the drug's main psychoactive ingredients bind to special receptors in the brain called CB1 receptors, a 2014 study published in the journal Current Addiction Reports details. Because spice is so much stronger than pot, however, it is much more likely to cause serious symptoms, including seizures and psychosis.

Between 2010 and 2015, more than 450 cases of synthetic cannabinoid intoxication were reported among patients treated by US medical toxicologists, according to the CDC. Of those cases, 277 (61%) were caused by spice alone, meaning no other drugs were involved. Three people died.

As a Paramedic, I was one of the first Paramedics in our region to have an overdose patient involving K2. It was vastly different than a normal overdose patient. The typical countermeasures a Paramedic would use for an opioid overdose have no real effect on a K2 OD. (Overdose). The only thing I could do was sedate the patient and maintain his airway while I monitored his heart. This was in 2010 when garbage like K2 started hitting the streets.

Officials in a Pennsylvania town say they have treated more than 60 people who overdosed on synthetic marijuana over a weekend period.

Executive Director of Lancaster Emergency Medical Services Bob May tells Lancaster Online first responders received 65 overdose calls between Friday and Monday morning Fox News Reported.

Found in colorful packages, the sale of the drug began in the early 2000s and to date, there are more than 150 different compounds, CBS News reported in February. States across the country have made the compounds illegal, but new forms continue to hit the street and market, in new and ingenious fashions to circumvent laws.

Basically, if you want to treat your body correctly, and don’t want to worry about ending up in the hospital because you bought some risky and unreliable CBD Oils from a vape shop; you need to purchase REAL CBD oil, from someone reputable and responsible. We stand by our products, and urge you to stay safe and selective when it comes to putting anything into your body.
